Website terms of use
Last updated: April 2026. These terms govern your use of the synteksolutions.co.uk website only. They are not a contract for IT services — those are covered by a separate Master Services Agreement supplied at onboarding.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using this website ("the Site"), you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site. These terms may be updated from time to time; the version in force is the one published at the date of your visit.
2. About us
The Site is operated by Syntek IT Solutions Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales, with offices in Horsham, West Sussex. You can contact us at hello@synteksolutions.co.uk or on .
3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, images, code, logos, graphics, downloadable documents and the arrangement of the Site — is owned by or licensed to Syntek IT Solutions Ltd, and is protected by copyright, trade-mark and other intellectual-property laws. You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your own personal or internal business use. You may not:
- reproduce, republish, sell or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent;
- remove copyright or other proprietary notices;
- use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to harvest content beyond what standard search-engine crawling would permit.
4. Linking to this site
You may link to the home page or any public page of the Site, provided you do so in a way that is fair, lawful and does not damage or take advantage of our reputation. Framing, deep-linking into paid or gated areas, or suggesting any form of association, approval or endorsement where none exists is not permitted. We may withdraw linking permission at any time on notice.
5. Links to external sites
Where the Site links to third-party websites — for example, NCSC, Microsoft Learn, Ofcom, Gov.uk, the ICO or our blog references — those links are provided for information only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those external sites.
6. Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care to keep the Site accurate and up to date. However, the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected within any specific timeframe. Prices, product details and service descriptions are indicative and do not form a contractual offer; the contractual terms for any service we supply will be those set out in a signed agreement or written quotation.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site in any way that:
- breaches any applicable UK or international law or regulation;
- is fraudulent, deceptive or has any fraudulent or unlawful purpose;
- introduces malware, worms, trojans, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
- attempts to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to the Site.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Subject to that, we will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Site, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to £100.
9. Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy and cookies policy. By using the Site you acknowledge those policies.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation are governed by the law of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
11. Contact
